John Burnett
BankersOnline.com

John Burnett joined Glia Group, Inc., and BankersOnline in 2004, and currently serves as Executive Editor. He is a 1990 honors graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and is an alumnus of the ABA National Compliance School, where he served on the faculty for several years.

John began his banking career in high school when he started as a teller at a $15 million bank that didn't have account numbers for its checking accounts (he says they actually filed by signature!) He joined Cape Cod Bank and Trust Company in 1971 and assumed the position of Compliance Officer in 1976. He also served as corporate secretary and secretary of CCBT's Board of Directors, as well as Clerk of the bank's holding company.

He was a member of the Massachusetts Bankers Association Legal and Regulatory Compliance Committee, and of the American Bankers Association Compliance Executive Committee and NCS/NGCS Advisory Board. He is a regular presenter of BOL Learning Connect webinars and a presenter at BOL Conferences events.



Randy Carey
Randy Carey is a Compliance Specialist with PPDocs.com. Previously, Randy spent 15 years as an independent regulatory compliance and bank management consultant. He also has 20 years of banking experience which included positions ranging from Check Sorter Operator, Proof Supervisor, Senior Training Officer, Staffing Analysis Officer, VP and Project Manager, National Retail Loan Payment Processing Manager, VP - Compliance and Community Reinvestment Act Activities, and VP and Director of Internal Audit.

He is a graduate of the ABA National Compliance School, the ABA National Graduate Compliance School, and the ABA National Truth-in-Lending School. He has served as an instructor for the American Institute of Banking, the Texas and Oregon Bankers Compliance Schools, and the BankersOnline BSA Top Gun and Lending Triage Conferences and passed the Certified Bank Compliance Officer examination. He is also a former member of the Community Reinvestment Leadership Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.



Maureen E. Carollo, CRCM, CAMS

Maureen E. Carollo, CRCM, CAMS, is Chief Compliance/Risk Officer for a newly formed bank holding company that is in the process of launching a digital bank, and has over 30 years of experience in the deposit operations, loan administration, compliance management, internal audit and BSA/AML management areas and holds the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation and the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification. She is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU in Dallas, Texas, and graduated with recognition for leadership. She serves on the "ABA Bank Compliance" magazine Editorial Advisory Board, where she has had multiple articles and columns published. She has also received an APEX Award for Excellence in Publishing. She has been a regular speaker for the ABA Regulatory Compliance Conference, where she has served on the Advisory Board for many years and has been Co-Chair for two years. She is also active in the Oklahoma Bankers Association, where she currently serves on the Compliance School Board of Regents and is past Chairman of the OBA's Compliance School Board. She is an instructor for their Compliance School, Consumer Lending School, Operations School and Intermediate Banking School.



Jack Holzknecht
Compliance Resource, LLC
Jack Holzknecht is the CEO of Compliance Resource, LLC. He has been delivering the word on lending compliance for 39 years. In 34 years as a trainer over 125,000 bankers (and many examiners) have participated in Jack's live seminars and webinars. Jack's career began in 1976 as a federal bank examiner. He later headed the product and education divisions of a regional consulting company. There he developed loan and deposit form systems and software. He also developed and presented training programs to bankers in 43 states. Jack has been an instructor at compliance schools presented by several state bankers associations. He developed and delivered compliance training for the FDIC and OTS for ten years. He is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager and a member of the National Speakers Association. He is also a "BOL Guru."



Rebekah F. Leonard, CRCM

Rebekah F Leonard, CRCM is the Director of Compliance for a $6 Billion community bank in Montana, as well as the owner of Elucidate, LLC, a compliance training company based in Miles City, Montana. Rebekah has been in the finance and banking industry since 1995, beginning in private-lending before settling into banking, where she's covered nearly all of it - from customer service and teller work, to loan processing and review, to security & business continuity, to ultimately overseeing CRA, BSA and all aspects of compliance as a senior leader. She has successfully navigated numerous FDIC Compliance, CRA, and BSA Exams. Rebekah has a bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University (Magna cum Laude), attended the American Bankers Association National Compliance School in 2003, and has held her Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager designation since 2006. She actually likes compliance (really!) and enjoys sharing her passion of it with others.



Andy Zavoina

Mr. Andy Zavoina, CRCM, is an Executive Vice President with the Glia Group, Inc., best known for its involvement with BankersOnline.com. He joined Glia and BOL in 2003.

Mr. Zavoina has been in finance and banking for 38 years. Over 20 years were with a two-bank holding company that had $534 million in assets, 89 branches spanning Texas and nearly 500 ATMs. He has done loan workouts, has been a consumer, commercial and real estate lender and managed those departments, as well as being his banks first Webmaster. He was responsible for compliance -management, -auditing, and -training for both banks.

Mr. Zavoina is a recipient of the American Bankers Association's Distinguished Service Award for his involvement and accomplishments in the field of regulatory compliance management. He is a past Chairman of the ABA's Compliance Executive Committee, the Editorial Advisory Board for the ABA Compliance Magazine and served as a member of the ABA's Compliance School Board. He is a BankersOnline Guru. He also served on the Texas Bankers Association's Compliance Committee.

He is a graduate of the ABA National Commercial Lending School, National Compliance and National Graduate Compliance School and is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager with the Institute of Certified Bankers. He has written articles and lectured on compliance, the use of the internet and technology as a tool, as well as compliance in cyberspace to local, state and national associations across the U.S. and teaches basic compliance and compliance management.
