Kathleen Blanchard has over 32 years of experience in banking. She has developed lending and regulatory processes as a banker and consultant and presents detailed regulatory training that is very process specific. Her banking background includes commercial and private banking lending, credit review, credit policy and procedures, risk management and regulatory compliance at both community, regional and large international banks.
Kathleen has been providing training and consulting services for banks, credit unions and non-bank lenders on their regulatory compliance processes, HMDA and CRA reporting, process development and training since 2006. She is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager and a BOL Guru for BankersOnline.com. Since 2015, Kathleen has been delivering in depth regulatory compliance consulting and training via The HMDA Academy, a unique personalized combination of consulting, training and resources delivered online to assist financial institutions and vendors in learning and applying the revised HMDA process and rules going into effect in 2017 and 2018.
John Burnett joined Glia Group, Inc., and BankersOnline in 2004, and currently serves as Executive Editor. He is a 1990 honors graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and is an alumnus of the ABA National Compliance School, where he served on the faculty for several years.
John began his banking career in high school when he started as a teller at a $15 million bank that didn't have account numbers for its checking accounts (he says they actually filed by signature!) He joined Cape Cod Bank and Trust Company in 1971 and assumed the position of Compliance Officer in 1976. He also served as corporate secretary and secretary of CCBT's Board of Directors, as well as Clerk of the bank's holding company.
He was a member of the Massachusetts Bankers Association Legal and Regulatory Compliance Committee, and of the American Bankers Association Compliance Executive Committee and NCS/NGCS Advisory Board. He is a regular presenter of BOL Learning Connect webinars and a presenter at BOL Conferences events.

Previously, Randy spent 15 years as an independent regulatory compliance and bank management consultant. He also has 20 years of banking experience which included positions ranging from Check Sorter Operator, Proof Supervisor, Senior Training Officer, Staffing Analysis Officer, VP and Project Manager, National Retail Loan Payment Processing Manager, VP - Compliance and Community Reinvestment Act Activities, and VP and Director of Internal Audit.
He is a graduate of the ABA National Compliance School, the ABA National Graduate Compliance School, and the ABA National Truth-in-Lending School. He has served as an instructor for the American Institute of Banking, the Texas and Oregon Bankers Compliance Schools, and the BankersOnline BSA Top Gun and Lending Triage Conferences and passed the Certified Bank Compliance Officer examination. He is also a former member of the Community Reinvestment Leadership Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
Mary Beth Guard
Mary Beth Guard is one of the four co-founders of BankersOnline and is now Editor Emeritus, after more than 16 years of serving as Executive Editor. She was instrumental in the creation and expansion of BankersOnline, as well as the launch more than a decade ago of BOL Conferences, Inc. and its continued operation and growth. Mary Beth is also the director of BankCompliance.com, the premier subscription-based compliance service now being offered online. Also, Mary Beth serves as CEO of Glia Group, Inc., which produces BOL Learning Connect. For more than three decades, Mary Beth has utilized her background as an attorney to focus on banking industry issues, first as general counsel for the Oklahoma State Banking Department, then as general counsel for the Oklahoma Bankers Association, prior to her work with BankersOnline.
Mary Beth has presented training programs for virtually every major national financial industry association, as well as more than a dozen state bankers associations and a host of other organizations. She is a frequent presenter of webinars and seminars. In addition, Mary Beth has written more than a thousand banking-related articles and is BOL Guru #1.
Compliance Resource, LLC
Jack Holzknecht is the CEO of Compliance Resource, LLC. He has been delivering the word on lending compliance for 39 years. In 34 years as a trainer over 125,000 bankers (and many examiners) have participated in Jack's live seminars and webinars. Jack's career began in 1976 as a federal bank examiner. He later headed the product and education divisions of a regional consulting company. There he developed loan and deposit form systems and software. He also developed and presented training programs to bankers in 43 states. Jack has been an instructor at compliance schools presented by several state bankers associations. He developed and delivered compliance training for the FDIC and OTS for ten years. He is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager and a member of the National Speakers Association. He is also a "BOL Guru."
Andy Zavoina, CRCM, is an Executive Vice President and Chief Relationship Officer with the Glia Group, Inc., best known for its interest in BankersOnline.com. He joined Glia and BOL in 2003.
Mr. Zavoina has been in finance and banking for 35 years. Over 20 years were with a two-bank holding company which had $534 million in assets, 89 branches spanning Texas and nearly 500 ATMs. He managed loan workouts, has been a consumer, commercial and real estate lender, managing those departments, as well as being his banks first Webmaster. He was responsible for compliance -management, -auditing, and -training for both banks.
Andy is a frequent webinar presenter for BOL Learning Connect and a key contributor to conferences put on by BOL Conferences, Inc. In addition, Andy teaches live presentations at state association schools and regional compliance organizations across the U.S. and has served on the faculty of national banking schools. He has written articles and lectured on many facets of compliance, the use of the internet and technology as a tool, as well as compliance in cyberspace.
As a BankersOnline Guru, Andy assists banks in every day, and not so every day, compliance questions on BankersOnline, BankCompliance.com and other organizations.
Mr. Zavoina is a recipient of the American Bankers Association's Distinguished Service Award for his involvement and accomplishments in the field of regulatory compliance management. He is a past Chairman of the ABA's Compliance Executive Committee, the Editorial Advisory Board for the ABA Compliance Magazine and served as a member of the ABA's Compliance School Board. He also served on the Texas Bankers Association's Compliance Committee.
He is a graduate of the ABA National Commercial Lending School, National Compliance and National Graduate Compliance School and is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager with the Institute of Certified Bankers.
